Fighting Stuttering With Funny

Posted on: March 12, 2014

A great story out of Charlotte, NC today about a guy who stutters who decided to face his fears head on and try stand-up comedy to prove to himself that stuttering doesn’t control him.

Check it out.

Such an inspirational story that shows such will to beat the hurdles life throws our way. Thanks for sharing Pam.

I have a severe stuttering problem. Being funny builds my confidence up to where I feel so much better about myself. You have to enjoy life.

Hi – thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave a comment. I can understand how being funny would help with building your confidence. Unfortunately for me, I am terrible at being funny. I have no sense of timing.
Hope to see you again here.
Pam

The trick to being funny is to just try to have a good time with whatever you are doing. If you are at work, make a joke. If you are out with friends, say a funny story. Don’t underestimate yourself!
